University of the Western Cape to host the World Nutrition Conference

This August, global experts and thought leaders in the field of Public Health, World Nutrition and Food Systems, will meet in Cape Town for the 2nd edition of the World Public Health Nutrition Association’s (WPHNA) World Nutrition Congress.
From 30 August – 2 September the University of the Western Cape will host the World Nutrition Conference 2016, where renowned public health experts will take to the stage to discuss, debate and share insights on how to address the double burden of malnutrition in a globalised world.
Researchers, policymakers, activists students will come together from different fields ranging from land and agriculture; to dietetics, health systems, economic and political studies, to address these challenges.
Attendees will be treated to parallel plenary sessions and keynote presentations delivered by local and international experts from wide ranging fields.
